Rebranding SCO Bikes

Inhouse design work for Dansk Supermarked Group, owner of the SCO brand. Along with a new logo and the yearly catalogue, I handled daily graphic design tasks and developed design manuals to help the external suppliers keep the design guidelines

Logo

SCO is an old Danish bike brand, with more than 100 years of history. The logo has evolved with the brand, but the original inspiration has survived. Different generations have styled the French Lilly to fit their time - also in the newest. During the 2015-2016 rebranding of SCO, merged the geometric style of the 80’es logo with the simple and compact shape of the original 100-year-old design - to create a screen-friendly vector logo that could fit the minimalistic style of the new bikes. The 80’es logo is still in use on the Retro collection, but the rest of the brand now uses this logo.

Catalogue

The 2018 catalogue was the first time SCO had a printed catalogue since the rebranding. The brand had been dormant for years before this, so this large-scale print run had to cement the new brand identity in the minds the customers.
