This project explores the possibilities of holographic illusions in theater. Frederica Theater’s production of Legendale was the specific case study.
The set up works best in low light conditions - which neither of my cameras are fond of. So this is to give an idea of the effects when they are not filters through grainy footage.

The traditional lighting effects can be enhanced by the digital overlay. The two can be used together to give the effect presence on the stage - here tested on my scale model.

It is not only important to test the setup in relation to the stage, but also to the actors. To utilize the special properties of this kind of setup, it needs to be seen in relation to a moving human being.
